Just Asking…

As a sometime novelist and would-be screenwriter, I’d like to offer this idea for a spy thriller. Log line: When a secret Russian asset is elected President of the United States, he and his billionaire Nazi sidekick proceed to dismantle the federal government, wreck the economy, intimidate judges, and abandon long held alliances to fuel a dictator’s war of aggression.

No, that won’t work. Nobody would believe it! Fiction, unlike reality, has to at least be plausible. And don’t get me wrong–I’m not in any way saying that Trump is a secret Russian agent. I’m just asking questions. Like: if he were, is there anything he’d be doing differently?
