As promised, here are recordings of the 2-part Decolonized Medicine workshop series (presented last month, 1 week apart) paired with the last piece:
Part I lays foundations & Part II summarizes big takeaways before diving into a clinical case based discussion. It’s meant to be an intro that hopefully ignites some shifts, “aha!” moments, & pushes in the right direction.
The series dives into:

Limitations of solely working within capitalist/ colonial systems or looking to them for answers to our problems

Why we need to think outside the cages we’ve been raised in & play a role in community OUTSIDE a job/ career/ mainstream systems
This is definitely for people working as or training to be:

A healthcare provider, scientist, researcher, therapist, counselor, social worker, psychologist, psychiatrist, any form of care worker

Paid activist or organizer working for an org/ company/ nonprofit
